However, once when I was spending the day waiting at a local hospital, I met an English woman who was here on vacation and she assured me that waiting times in the UK were not as bad as here, and they say ours are better nowadays. We have spent so much time waiting in one of the local hospitals, I know the emergency rooms better than the staff do.Johttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14087140585742801854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22066416.post-77415058146664372132011-10-13T08:21:59.919+08:002011-10-13T08:21:59.919+08:00My sympathies. Good reading time, though, as you say!

I hope you get a firm diagnosis and appropriate treatment soon.Satima Flavellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17427849961195148899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22066416.post-43156190898708903732011-10-13T07:07:41.424+08:002011-10-13T07:07:41.424+08:00Aww.. As so many of these things, never heard of it before, didn't read it all, can they cure it?

I do so understand what you mean about American medical services. We just vacationed there and needed to go to a doc. They wanted $189 for hubby to become a patient before they would even see him. Went somewhere else and they just charged for the visit plus the test. Much less.Johttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14087140585742801854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22066416.post-59432679536086867692011-10-12T19:10:17.065+08:002011-10-12T19:10:17.065+08:00Yeah, I can't imagine how awful it must be to ...Yeah, I can't imagine how awful it must be to know you are ill and yet not be able to afford tests etc to find our what is wrong.Glenda Larkehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10113271268122909969noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22066416.post-29330093991046682802011-10-12T17:49:07.495+08:002011-10-12T17:49:07.495+08:00That sucks but at least you have access to good he...That sucks but at least you have access to good health care.Helen V.https://www.blogger.com/profile/07989670682260643429noreply@blogger.com
