So, some of you have probably been wondering why, no sooner I was back from a holiday in Western Australia, I wanted to get back on a plane again and go to the States. Well, here is the reason.
Meet Duke McGuigan, my latest grandson, and quite gorgeous he is too at 8lb 7oz birthweight, born at home.
I did plan to be there for the birth, but he couldn't wait and beat me to it by five and a half hours.
So you could say, he noramlyed* me...
Certainly I wouldn't recommend a long flight with a 9 hour layover as the best thing to be doing once you know a grandchild is on his way!
*many
years ago the men who married my daughters invented a new verb:
"to be noramlyed". The meaning: if your name is Noramly or if you travel with any member of the
Noramly family, something will go wrong with your plans.

Well surely the baby should have been called Noramly!!
Congratulations to all concerned.
Wonderful, Glenda.
Sending hugs for you all!
Oh he's gorgeous. Best wishes to all.
Very cute.
Congratulations. He looks powerful.
Just have seen, that the Mirage Makers are on their way to Germany. Hope there'll soon be some more fans over here... Maybe the publisher will give us a new version of Havenstar, too? The old german cover is horrible coloured (as you could see here: http://www.amazon.de/Die-F%C3%A4hrte-Blinden-Glenda-Noramly/dp/3453178939/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1346402082&sr=8-1).
Best wishes.
What a cutie! Yay to everyone concerned and involved!
