One of the really nerve-wracking things as publication day approaches is waiting for the first professional review.
Well, I just got it. I can't publish it here yet, as the review still isn't officially published - comes out in the September issue of Bookseller and Publisher.
But it is fabulous.
Whew.
I am soooooooooooooo relieved.

I wouldn't have expected anything different.
Believe me, Jo, there's be some who hate the book. No story pleases everyone!
I guess that goes back to some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time. However, if I have enjoyed an author's work in the past, I always enjoy their work in the future although, in some notable cases, to a lesser degree when they try and spin out a story into seven or eight books.
