Where is humanity in any of this?

Everyone should watch this BBC video. Here.
I wasn't going to blog about this, but I can't not say anything. Not any more.
"All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." (Anon)
-------------
"Als sie mich holten,
gab es keinen mehr, der protestieren konnte." *

In the words of the Norwegian doctor at the Gaza hospital in the video clip:

"Among the hundreds of people admitted to the hospital we have only seen 2 fighters"
"The statistics are clear - amongst the 2400-2500 injured, 45% are women and children"
"Most of the injured are women, children and male civilians"
"Among those killed 25% are either women or children"
"As of this morning there were a total of 801 children either killed or injured of which 101 children have been killed"

Even the given reason for this slaughter is just plain ridiculous -
Tell me, are you going to feel safer after this is over? I don't think so.

Not a lot one can say without being there.

It's horrible. How can they seriously hope to stop hatred and cruelty with more hatred and cruelty?
