My life has been described by one of my editors as “impossibly exotic” – although really it is not my life, but me, that’s the exotic. I’m the uprooted plant, the exotic who doesn’t belong, always living in someone else’s backyard...

Shame that you and your husband are a bit like passing ships (or passing planes) at the moment. But I do envy you the chance to be in Sabah - especially with the wind-chill here knocking temps down to sub-zero.
Really enjoying The Tainted btw, about 3/4 through now. I've even been writing about it on my blog already ... and that's unusual for me, I normally prefer to finish reading a book before I start discussing it.

Who's your little friend????
I'm glad you didn't thin it was me, Karen...
He came and sat on the boat when we were puttering along in the mangroves in Langkawi. Long-tailed Macaques are great swimmers.
Wind-chill? What's that? We don't bother about the wind here. We just sweat to keep cool instead. Sigh.
What, no air con??

Only for a split second, possum ... *gggg*
That's gorgeous. He's an absolute cutie. I came across a hammerhead shark over the side of a boat once, but somehow it's not the same ...
Karen (because I have to anon again!!!)
